Analysis
This zoning change was initiated by Marquette University to permit existing and future university-related land uses such as student dormitories and parking structures.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

Section 295-905(2)(c).0002. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the areas bounded and described as follows:

The centerline of West Wisconsin Avenue, the centerline of North 17th Street, a line 360 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Wisconsin Avenue, a line 135 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 17th Street, a line 180 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Wisconsin Avenue, a line 150 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 17th Street, the centerline of West Wisconsin Avenue, a line 100 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 17th Street, a line 125 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Wisconsin Avenue, the centerline of North 17th Street, the centerline of West Wells Street, a line 170 feet West and parallel to the west line of North 18th Street, a line 190.52 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Wells Street, the centerline of North 19th Street, a line 150 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Wisconsin Avenue, a line 70 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 19th Street, and the centerline of West Wisconsin Avenue; and
